Isla Espiritu Santo and Isla Partida are uniquely loaded with anchorages – nearly every cove on the west side is an anchorage – and we were ready for new sites after a few days at Ensenada de la Ballena.

Pulled up anchor at Ensenada de la Ballena (Isla Espiritu Santo) at 08:35, anchored at Caleta Partida (between Espiritu Santo and Isla Partida) at 09:59.

Conditions were phenomenal, with 6.5-10 knots of wind from the southwest, so we got a straight downwind run the whole time. We raised the main, sailed off the anchor, and had a consistent speed over ground of 4-5 knots until we anchored.
