We only did a quick overnight here – caught up with some friends who were part of the Baja Ha-Ha. We got a tip that the weather prediction was particularly good for the next few days. We didn’t want to chase them down, but our PredictWind models agreed, so we got back on the water the next day.

We anchored at 24°46.192′ N, 112°15.151′ W.

Notes for boaters:

  • Anchored in ~30 feet of water with ~150 feet of chain. Tons of room & good hold.
  • There are SO MANY lobster pots around the northern point in the bay entrance.
  • Beautiful but desolate – not a place to get food, water, fuel, or parts.
